Hang onto Your Hats and Glasses!

Hang onto your hats and glasses folks, the wildest ride in the wilderness is about to get a little wilder!  The new additions coming to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at the Disneyland Resort will create a hands on experience for miners of all ages! As you walk through the queue, you can explore new rooms as you get ready to start your day at the mining company. You could even blast a mine shaft or two. Take a look!

What new room are you most excited to see? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you real soon 🙂

Sneak peak of the new Fantasy Faire at Disneyland

The Disney Parks Blog released a video yesterday giving us a sneak peak of the new Fantasy Faire opening March 12th at the Disneyland Resort. The Fantasy Faire is a part of the expansion to bring in a little more magic to Fantasyland. I have to say the Imagineers have out done themselves, I mean look at the detail!

It is truly a place fit for a princess! What princess are you most excited to meet at the Fantasy Faire? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you real soon 🙂

Hidden Mickey Pin Trading

I love walking through the Disneyland Resort collecting pins and hunting down hidden Mickey’s. Little did I know, there’s a way to do both. Every year Disney releases Hidden Mickey Pins and give them exclusively to cast members. Here’s the cool part, the pins are available to trade! Check out the pins for this year!

New to pin trading? Here are some tips:

At the Disney Resorts you can buy a starter pin set. It comes with a lanyard and matching pins to help get you started.

You might want to think about getting locking backs for your pins so they don’t fall off your lanyard . The locks they come with are known to not hold very well.

You can trade with cast members and other guests in the park throughout the day and there’s also specific areas you can trade pins.

You can only trade two (2) pins per cast members per day

Do you like pin trading? What’s a cool pin that you’ve collected? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you real soon 🙂

Step into the Land of Oz

Ever dreamed about going to Oz? Now you can! The Land of Oz Garden is now open in Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort. The garden transports guest down the yellow brick road to almost a third of an acre of circus themed family fun. The Land of Oz Garden will remain open and be apart of the part of Epcot’s Internatinal Flower and Garden Festival which opens March 6th and runs through May 19th

What flowers do you think grow in Oz? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you real soon 🙂

Monsters University

Class is now in session! Yesterday The Walt Disney Studios UK  released the full length trailer to Monsters University. I have to say it looks scary good ( sorry, couldn’t resist) The film comes out this summer on  June 21st  and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t counting down.

Not wanting to wait for a good scare? Disney Living’s Youtube Channel also released a video yesterday of John Lasseter showcasing  toys from Monsters University that are perfect for the little monsters in your life.

Are you excited for the film? Have a favorite toy from the video? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you real soon 🙂
