The “Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade” is making it’s debut this spring! Who else is excited to see Maleficent in person?!
As the Magic Kingdom heats up, Disney’s animated film Frozen is keeping things cool this week. Not only did the film take home the Golden Globe for Best Animated Film, it looks like Frozen is heading to Broadway!
Walt Disney CEO and chairman Bob Iger has confirmed that Disney is getting ready to make the Great White Way as white as snow ( or more snow thanks to the Polar Vortex) No time frame has been set for the opening of the show, but with success of the movies soundtrack and the amazing musical talents attached to the film (Idina Menzel anyone?) there is no doubt that the musical will be a snow-stopper 😉
Are you excited for the parade? Frozen the musical? Both? Let me know in the comments below 🙂

Spring is officially here and what a perfect time for Disney World to release their newest announcement! Today, Disney Chairman Tom Staggs announced the transformation to Walt Disney World’s Downtown Disney into Disney Springs. Next month construction will begin to transform the 75 shopping, dining, and entertainment options there are available now to 150 new options in new neighborhoods.
As always, in true Disney fashion, Disney Springs will allow guests to experience a story inspired by the lakeside towns of Florida. The New Gateway into Disney Springs will have a grand entrance complete with a water tower. The Town Center will offer shopping and dining options in an open promenade. The Landing will offer more dining and shopping options next to beautiful waterfront views. The Marketplace is an area that’s great for the whole family with an over-the-water walkway. The West Side is the entertainment district with elevated spaces that offer a great views and shade. Check out some conceptual art of Disney Spring via The Disney Parks Blog
Downtown Disney will remain open during construction, which will be completed in 2016.
