Summer is almost here! Time for lemonade, beautiful weather, and endless fun. But what I’m most excited for, is the new show coming to Disneyland’s Fantasyland Theatre! It’s called Mickey and the Magical Map . The show starts Mickey (of cousre) as he explores the four corners of the magical map meeting some old friends a long the way! Today, the folks over on The Disney Parks Blog shared a behind the scenes look at the scoring of the music for the show. I think composers Adam Watts and Andy Dodd did an AMAZING job with the music, and Timothy Williams did an impecable job with the orchestration. Take a look!
So magical! I can’t wait to see the show! Mickey and the Magical Map premieres on May 25th 2013.

Hang onto your hats and glasses folks, the wildest ride in the wilderness is about to get a little wilder! The new additions coming to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at the Disneyland Resort will create a hands on experience for miners of all ages! As you walk through the queue, you can explore new rooms as you get ready to start your day at the mining company. You could even blast a mine shaft or two. Take a look!

The Disney Parks Blog released a video yesterday giving us a sneak peak of the new Fantasy Faire opening March 12th at the Disneyland Resort. The Fantasy Faire is a part of the expansion to bring in a little more magic to Fantasyland. I have to say the Imagineers have out done themselves, I mean look at the detail!
It is truly a place fit for a princess! What princess are you most excited to meet at the Fantasy Faire? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you real soon 🙂
