Wordy Wednesday: Timothy A. Mouse

Hey there! How;’s it going? Last weeks Wordy Wednesday was how It all started with a mouse ,  but with the announcement of the live-action remake of Dumbo, I got to thinking of another one of my favorite mice, with great advice… Timothy A. Mouse.

“Dumbo, I think your ears are beautiful. Sure, I think they’re decorative.”

A good friend will help you love yourself...

A good friend will help you love yourself…

“…Dumbo, you’re standing on  the threshold of success. Don’t look down, it’ll make you dizzy.”

Keep moving forward...

Keep moving forward…

“You outta be ashamed of yourselves! A bunch of big guys like you, picking on a little guy like him!”

Good friends always have your back...

Good friends always have your back…

“The very things that held you down, are going to carry you up and up and up!”

Embrace your “Glitch” as Vanelope would say 🙂

Wordy Wednesday: It All Started With a Mouse

Hey there! How’s it going! There are so many iconic things we think of when we think of Disney, but one of my favorites is the big guy himself, Mickey Mouse. With Disney being a world-wide phenomena, sometimes it’s hard to believe that “it all started with a mouse”. Here are some of my favorite Mickey Mouse quotes:

“I’ll be right beside you, because we’re friends.”

Me and Mickey go way back :)

Me and Mickey go way back 🙂

“Your darkness belongs to you, just the same way your light does…”

Bad guys beware...

Bad guys beware…

“Don’t worry, Minnie. You’re all the music I’ll ever need.”

A love story as old as time

A love story as old as time

“To Laugh At Yourself Is To Love Yourself.”

Mickey's laugh is the best :D

Mickey’s laugh is the best 😀

“Don’t Stress Over Anything You Can’t Change.”

Mickey smiles through everything :)

Mickey smiles through everything 🙂

Wordy Wednesday: Catching Up

Hey there how’s it going? I’m back! How have you been?  I apologize for my long delay and a lack of an explanation. I started school and I was completely swamped with tests, and homework. But now I’m ready to jump back into the wonderful world of Disney!

First off, a huge congrats to The Walt Disney Company on their two Oscar wins this past Sunday! I think it’s great that two years in a row Disney was able to was able to win Academy Awards . Maybe next year they can make it three years running with a win for best animated feature for Disney/Pixar’s new film Inside Out?

Whoo Hoo!!

                       Future Oscar winner?

Future Oscar winner?

Also, who’s ready for the 60th Anniversary of Disneyland! I’m so excited for the Anniversary and all the magical things that are being planned! Personally, I’m looking forward to the World of Color- Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Disney. I remember being able to go to the parks during the 50th Anniversary and how magical the parks were. Are you planning on spending the 60th Anniversary down at the Parks? What are you most looking forward to?

Mickey and Minnie are all dolled up and ready to go

In other park news, I’m sure you’ve heard about the ticket increases coming to park tickets. Adult ticket prices now being $99 and children 3-9 tickets now being $93. This comes after last years raised ticket prices right before Memorial Day. What are your thoughts on the new prices? Do you think it’s crazy or understandable with the increase of the parks?

I hope you’ve been well and I’ve enjoyed catching up with you. Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you real soon 🙂

Wordy Wednesday: Dig A Little Deeper

Hey there! How’s it going? It’s Wednesday! Which means we are almost through the week 🙂 I don’t know about you, but for me, that usually means the days seem to move slower towards the weekend. I have to keep reminding myself that “I’m almost there I’m almost there. There’s been trials and tribulations, but I’m almost there” Sometimes if things get to hectic and I feel like I just want to scream,

Have you ever had "one of those days"?

Have you ever had “one of those days”?

I like to escape to a place In the South Land, way down on the river to help remind me to  I have to dig a little deeper to find out what I need 🙂

“You sure this is the right blind voodoo lady who lives in the boat in the tree in the bayou?” “Pretty sure”

“I am Naveen, Prince of Maldonia, and she is Tiana, the waitress….Do not kiss her.”

“There is no way I’m kissing a frog and eating a bug in the same day.”

“Who would’ve thought the prince had a younger brother. How old did you say you were?” “I’m six-and-a-half.” “Well… I waited this long.”

“Dig down deep inside yourself. You’ll find out what you need. Blue skies and sunshine guaranteed.”

Wordy Wednesday: Everybody’s Got a Laughin’ Place

Everybody’s got  a laughin’ place. That place where you can’t help but smile, or laugh. The place where you can’t open your mouth, with out a song jumping right out of it 😉

“What do you want me to do, dress in drag and do the hula?”- The Lion King

“D’oh! You threw off my groove!”

“I’m sorry, but you’ve thrown off the Emperor’s groove.”

“Sooooorry!”- The Emperor’s New Groove

“What’s the matter with these scissors?” “The thread won’t cut!”-Hercules

“Where’s my super suit?”

“Where – is – my – super – suit?”  “I, uh, put it away.”

“Whhhyyy do you neeed to know?”

“I need it!”

“Uh-uh! Don’t you think about running off doing no daring-do. We’ve been planning this dinner for two months!”

“The public is in danger!”

“My evening’s in danger! “You tell me where my suit is, woman! We are talking about the greater good!”

“‘Greater good?’ I am your wife! I’m the greatest good you are ever gonna get!” -The Incredibles
