Hello Old Friend

Which, of course, I wished could happen at Disneyland.  Well, wishes do come true because now its Disneyland’s turn! Starting today, you can Vote on the friends you would like to see again in Disneyland  over at the Disney Parks blogs until March 21st.

Disney Springs has Sprung

Spring is officially here and what a perfect time for Disney World to release their  newest announcement! Today, Disney Chairman Tom Staggs announced the transformation to Walt Disney World’s Downtown Disney into Disney Springs. Next month construction will begin to transform the 75 shopping, dining, and entertainment options there are available now to 150 new options  in new neighborhoods.

As always, in true Disney fashion, Disney Springs will allow guests to experience a story inspired by the lakeside towns of Florida. The New Gateway into Disney Springs will have a grand entrance complete with a water tower. The Town Center will offer  shopping and dining options in an open promenade. The Landing will offer more dining and shopping options next to beautiful waterfront views. The Marketplace is an area that’s great for the whole family with an over-the-water walkway. The West Side is the  entertainment district with elevated spaces that offer a great views and shade. Planes and Change Oh My!

This summer, from the world “above” Cars comes the high flying 3D adventure Planes. Planes is about a little propeller plane named Dusty who has dreams of becoming an air racer. But there’s a little problem…. he’s afraid of heights. Planes was originally slatted for a Spring 2013 DVD release with Jon Cryer as the voice Dusty, however there’s been a little change in destination. Disney just released a teaser trailer with Dane Cook as the voice of the little plane that could and will take off in theaters this summer on August 9th.

Do you think the film could take flight? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you real soon 🙂
