Disneyland Vlog : The VOID| Star Wars Launch Bay | Galentine’s Day 2018
Hey there! Last week, my friend Alana and I headed to down to the Parks for a quick Galentine’s Day trip. It truly was a day that was outta this world.

We went to The VOID to do the Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire virtual reality experience (Which was AMAZING! but more about that later). We also hung out at the Star Wars Launch Bay taking pictures with all of our favorites ( as seen above), and what mission is complete without the proper fuel?
We fueled up at the Storyteller’s Cafe characters breakfast buffet at the Grand Californian Hotel…. where I may have eaten my weight in gluten-free Mickey waffles #SorryNotSorry

Dole Whip Floats at the Disneyland Hotel
One of my favorite treats at the Disneyland Resort is the Dole Whip float (I know… obviously) But did you know that you can get said float with a splash of rum?
Yep! If you head over to The Coffee House, located at the Disneyland Hotel, you can pick up a Dole Whip float with a splash of either coconut rum or spiced rum.
My personal favorite is the spiced rum, I love how the flavors complement each other. You get the spice of the rum and the sweet tangy goddesses of the float (ugh it’s so good). The coconut rum with the Dole whip is a little too tropical for me. But if you’re a fan of pinā colada’s you’ll probably love it.
During my last visit, I saw they added new options to the specialty menu. They now have cold brew coffee frappe with a splash of Baileys or Kailúa liqueur. I know when I hear frappe I think of a blended coffee drink, but it’s essentially an iced coffee.

The spiked drinks come out to about $10.51 when text is added. Like all alcoholic drinks on the Disney property, annual pass holders discounts don’t apply.
My final thoughts for the float is if you want to add a 21+ flare to your Dole Whip float, I think it’s worth the money. True, the float on its own is less expensive plus if you have an annual pass your discount will apply. But to me, the rum Dole Whip floats are a fun twist on a Disney classic.
Specialty drink menu at The Coffee House at the Disneyland Hotel
Grabbing one of these is a great way to take a break during your visit. You have to drink the spiked treats on the hotel property. But fear not there’s ample seating all around, there are tables adjacent to the coffee shop. Walk a bit further past the hotel’s pool, and you’ll find seating at the Tangaroa Terrace outdoor patio. My personal favorite seat to enjoy my treat is by the fireplace across the street from Trader Sam’s.

Just as a heads up, depending on who pours your drink, your beverage might contain a splash of rum or a punch of rum. Between the times I’ve ordered the boozy float the strength has changed, but all in all one of my favorite treats at the Parks.

Disneyland Vlog : Disney’s Lunar New Year Celebration!
Hey there! How’s it going? Join me and my friends as we celebrate the Year of the Dog at Disney’s Lunar New Year celebration!
It was a lovely day full of celebrating, and Disney 1st! We had never been to a Lunar New year event, My friends Alana and Danielle had never ridden the monorail, we met the lovely disneybounder Felicia for the 1st time. All in all a wonderful day at the Parks.

Disneyland Vlog: First Time Using Maxpass!
Hey There! How’s it going? I’m back after a hiatus and I’m so excited to be back sharing more Disney goodness with you.
First up, is a special flashback vlog of my first time using the MaxPass feature at the Disneyland Resort. I absoulety love how the MaxPass makes your day flow so easily. Especially when you’re in a big group, now none of your friends have to run to either park to get a fastpass for everybody. Add to that, the feature to download your photopass pictures it’s honestly my favorite way to navigate the parks.

Friday 5Day: The Hunchback of Norte Dame Musical
Hey there! How’s it going? Now open at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey, The Hunchback of Notre Dame (THND) musical is getting closer and closer to Broadway. After my lovely chat with the Disney Hipsters, who saw the show last night, I thought I’d share 5 things I’m looking froward to about the musical. Without further ado here we go:
1. The Music
I’m a HUGE fan of this score. The music from the movie is some of my favorite Disney music of all time, and to be able to hear the music played by a live orchestra… would be amazing
2. The Costumes
To me, one of the aspect that made THD stand out was the costumes. Even animated all the attention to detail to show the personality of each character I found incredible, Looking at promo pictures for the show, I can see Alejo Vietti was able to do the same.
3. The Sets
I’m interested to see how set designer Alexander Dodge translated the gothic feel of medieval Paris onto the stage, but judging by the promo pictures he’s done a fantastic job.
4. Ciara Renee
I’m a huge fan of Ciara Renee who plays Esmeralda, and I can’t wait to see her interpretation of one of my favorite Disney characters.
5. “Someday”
I know I’ve covered music, but this is my favorite song from THND. When I heard that they put the song into the musical I got really excited.

Friday 5Day: Disney Animatied Movies into Live Action Remakes
Hey there! How’s it going? With the announcement of the live action remake of Dumbo, and Cinderella (officially) being released today, I thought I’d count down 5 Animated Disney films I wouldn’t mind seeing a live action remake of. So without further ado here we go:
1. Treasure Planet
This is one of my favorite films, and I think with the special effects technology around nowadays, a live action version of this film would be awesome
2. Tangled
A live action version of Tangled would be so cute! Disney hasn’t had a live action musical in a while, and….the Lantern scene… in real life… Yes please..
3. Atlantis: The Lost Empire
This is another one of my favorites that I think special effects can enhance. I also think the movie could be tied into the Finding Nemo attractions in the parks nicely.
4. Aladdin
True, there’s technically live action versions of this currently on Broadway and in Disneyland, but for those of us that can’t make it to New York (raises hand) or the parks, to See Aladdin and Jasmine singing a whole new world on the big screen would be awesome!
5. Kim Possible
This isn’t a Disney Film, but it’s still one of my favorite animated Disney shows. I also think that Kim Possible opens itself up to having sequels, and being a huge franchise. I love Black Widow from The Avengers but, it would be nice to see another girl out there fighting the bad guys 🙂
